Description of my Expertise

A pioneer of Endoscopic Spine Surgery in the Philippines and in the Minimal Invasive Surgery of degenerative spine diseases like spinal stenosis, simple and complex disc disease and spinal pain syndromes. The procedures and techniques performed preserves the stability of the spine and muscles of the back while decompressing the spinal cord and/or spinal nerves and are applicable to several indications from the cervical to the lumbar spine allowing for less blood loss, low infection rates and shorter hospital stay.

As a regular International Faculty (workshops and lectures) in the training of spine surgeons in the art and science of Endoscopic Spine Surgery in Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia, I have represented the country and singlehandedly placed the country in the map of the ASEAN and Asia -Pacific Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Societies.
Performed the first Percutaneous Endoscopic Cervical Decompression in the Philippines.

Developed and performed the first Trans-oral, Endoscopic C2 Transcorporeal, C2-3 fragmentectomy, an anterior approach to C2-3 disc hernia and spinal cord decompression, a first in the world.
